Administrative department of Social activities performs administrative and expert tasks in health and social care sector, education, culture, sports, information activities, tasks related to technical education, religious communities and citizens' associations. It draws reports, expert analyses, proposals and documentation drafts within the competence of administrative body, all aiming at better development of these activities in the territory of the County.
The administrative department is also dealing with activities related to rights of the founders of health, social care, educational and cultural institutions, and proposes measures aiming at good management in these institutions.
It, furthermore, issues decrees upon appeals lodged by legal and physical persons against decrees issued by local administration units in matter of health and social care, according to the powers prescribed by the laws regulating the subject issues.
It monitors the realisation of the budget revenues from its competence and undertakes measures for their enforced collection.
Monitors and participates in the implementation of EU projects within the scope of its competence.
